According to Parashar Smriti - Veda has 6 parts and Jyotish
(Vedic Astrology) is the eye amongst them. The word ‘Jyoti’ means light

and galaxies. So the science which studies about ‘jyoti’ is called ‘jyotish’.
Jyotish is as old as Veda is, thus from the beginning of creation. However we
